The background of this Holy Cross is composed of 22 karat gold leaves that have been applied by hand, piece by piece.

In order to maintain its shape through the years and to avoid any bending or deforming of the cross, we have selected marine grade plywood as a high quality material for the making of this cross.

These prayer bracelets are the handiwork of the monks of the Monastic Cell of St. John Chrysostom of the Koutloumousiou Monastery, Mount Athos, Greece.

A very simple cross made from cypress wood by the monks of the Cell of Saint Serapheim in Mount Athos. Use a cord (not included) to hang the cross on a wall or on a car rear view mirror, or simply hold the cross in your hand as a praying tool. Carved dents around the perimeter of the cross add a decorative detail. On the back side of the cross the inscription in Greek reads "Mount Athos" and "Holy Saint Serapheim Cell".
